Prayer is a necessary and powerful tool. At St. john’s we have some special prayer ministries to help you as you walk through this life. The Bible teaches us, “So admit your sins to each other, and pray for each other so that you will be healed. Prayers offered by those who have God’s approval are effective.” [James 5:16]
- Immediately after the Sunday morning worship service there will be people available, by the organ, to pray with you or for you. They will pray about joy or sadness, triumph or trial, for yourself or for others. Just come and sit down with them. These things are always kept confidential.
- At your request, your name can be added to the Prayer Chain. The Prayer Chain is a group of prayer warriors in our congregation that regularly take the names of those given to them to the throne of God imploring His grace.
- You can also speak with the pastor about adding your name to the weekly worship service prayers for the whole congregation to raise your name to the throne of heaven.
Prayer request for my dear ex husband, Jeff…I’ve been praying for his salvation and waiting on God in hope for the marriage, but I’ve not had any contact from him since Sept 2021 until yesterday. I sent him an email about a business item and he responded quickly and briefly with the account information I needed. I am praising God that he responded, and renewing my prayers for his salvation and for God to give him a new heart and resurrect our marriage and family. Thank you for praying and hoping with me.
Praying for Dearin to be rid of all bitterness, resentment , unforgiveness and his hardened heart. Praying God will soften ,touch and restore his heart and soul with forgiveness, love, peace, unity, and compassion for his wife, children and family.
Fast & pray. Heavenly father forgive all our sins (me, daughter, husband). Deliver us from all devil’s chains. Father have mercy-grace on my daughter touch-heal her mind-body-soul. Father shower YOUR blessings of success-knowledge-wisdom- good health-joy-peace-happiness-protection on her. No one may harm-hurt her. Help her in study-guide her. Protect her from all evil-illness-infection. Provide all her needs (healthy food-vitamins-minerals). Protect me-my job. No one may harm-hurt me. Heal my mind-body-soul. Heal my fingers. Deliver me from evil-unwanted-uncontrolled thoughts, forgive me-do not leave me. Remove my husband’s stony-bitter-angry heart against me; give him a new heart with love. Help me father I need finance. DESTROY all evil plans against me & my daughter. THANK YOU. In Jesus name I pray Amen
